"Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.”
We believe that pastoral care is a great strength of any School. All members of the staff are involved in pastoral care. The School takes a pride in being a listening School and all members of the community are encouraged to talk freely about any issue. Formal and informal arrangements allow each child to have access to someone in whom they can put their trust and confidence. Our teachers are well qualified and well versed in handling almost all kinds of situations that might arise in such an academic setting. We place considerable emphasis on providing several levels of support to ensure that any problem can be identified and resolved quickly. Parents are encouraged to contact their child’s Class Teacher whenever necessary to discuss any matter (social, academic or physical) that concerns them through the Diary. We acknowledge that a close relationship between home and School benefits pupils. The health and welfare of children during School time is under the constant supervision of a School nurse as has been mentioned before. The School Nurse is based in a comfortable and colourful room from which she dispenses the medical requirements.
Every child here is treated as an individual and is genuinely cherished in the warm, supportive atmosphere.
